The Daily Yonder exists to elevate the concerns of America’s small towns and rural communities. We know you care about the future of rural America just like we do.
Today you have a special opportunity to help the Daily Yonder provide our one-of-a-kind rural journalism. Thanks to a national program that supports independent, nonprofit journalism, we receive matching funds with each reader donation.
From now until the end of the year, every dollar you give will be tripled and invested directly into the stories we publish each day in the Daily Yonder. Every dollar you give becomes three dollars.
There’s no better time to give to the Daily Yonder, if you want your gift to have the biggest impact on our bottom line.
Giving online is easy. You can also order Daily Yonder merch with your donation, as an added bonus.
The Daily Yonder is the nation’s only news outlet devoted exclusively to the information needs of rural America. We provide a way for people who care about diverse small towns and rural places to stay up to date on the things that matter most — economic development, education, health care, elections, conservation, arts & culture, and more.
Your gift helps make all this possible. And today that gift goes further to support our work.
Thanks for reading the Daily Yonder and for supporting our brand of rural journalism. And thanks for making your contribution when it matters most.

Note, contributions from individuals are eligible to be matched up to $1,000 per donor from November 1 to December 31, 2022, to a combined total of at least $15,000, through the NewsMatch national-matching program. The Daily Yonder has been selected to receive an additional $15,000 in matching funds from NewsMatch for its dedication to providing coverage of rural Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin and highlighting issues that impact residents’ lives and support civic engagement. These matching funds run concurrently, which means every dollar we raise, up to $15,000, is matched twice. Monthly recurring donations are matched at the 12-month value of the donation, up to $1,000. For more details about eligibility see NewsMatch guidelines. The Daily Yonder is a project of the Center for Rural Strategies, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts may be tax deductible; consult a tax adviser for more information.
